TNCM Golf Trophy

The Caribbean Golf Society (CGS) committee and members kindly voted to name September's cup as the The National Caribbean Memorial Trophy.  This is in support of a project to commission a monument in recognition of Caribbean people for over 400 years of service to Britain and the Commonwealth. Although it would have being most fitting Winston or I to have won this event, as members of the Memorial Project, it wasnt to be and the worthy winner was Ken Brown a long standing member of the Society. CGS also agreed to donate proceeds from the raffle at the Annual Presentation Dinner & Dance.  This event was held at the West Bromwich Football Club as a  celebration of 10 years since CGS began. It turned out to be a very good event and as promised a donation of over £300 pounds was made to TNCM.
